Chiri means leftover and refers to the dark bits of kozo bark that are added back into the vat. These bits are what give chiri papers their distinctive flecked look.

Cream Chiri #6 may be used for relief printing, drawing, painting, collage, end papers in books. While this paper is unsized, it does not bleed much when using wet media.
