The Kitaboshi Beginning Pencil is the softest pencil we carry. At a hardness rating of 10b, it lays down a ton of graphite and will allow you to create highly gestural, super-dark marks.
 
The two-tone stylus is beautiful in its own right. The white upper is an eye-catching contrast to the exposed cedar of the lower half of the pencil. The Kitaboshi Beginning Pencil is packaged as a two-pencil set, each capped to protect the soft graphite in transit.
