Harden, sculpt, and shape fabrics with Golden GAC 400 Fabric Stiffener. An alternative to rabbit skin glue, this medium can be used to prime and reduce the flexibility of canvas, cotton, linen, and more. It can also transform lightweight fabrics into freestanding forms.
 
Unlike rabbit skin glue, GAC 400 Fabric Stiffener is an acrylic polymer and doesn’t remain water-soluble after it’s dry, so humidity won’t make it soften, swell, or crack. Apply one or two coats directly onto raw canvas, coating both the front and back for maximum stiffness.
