About the event
Join forces with published author and illustrator Trenton McBeth to vanquish the dreaded Blank Page! Whether you’re keen on comics, mesmerized by Manga, or sold on storyboarding, we’re packing this SMASH! event full of WHACK!-tical advice for visualizing action on the page.
Designed for guests ages 16+, this workshop will explore the art of sequential storytelling. With Trenton at the helm, you’ll sail through the basic principles of page layout, plot development, and creating an environment in 2D through hands-on instruction. At the end of this session, you’ll have several on-paper concepts and all the tools you need to continue developing them independently.

- All participants under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a ticketholding adult.
- Cost of admission includes all supplies and a take-home kit. Additionally, guests receive 10% off any purchases made while on-site.
About Trenton McBeth
