Join us for a Mutual Aid Meetup where we’ll craft handmade recipe zines inspired by World Food Day: sharing dishes, traditions, and food stories that sustain us. Alongside zine-making, we’ll offer space and resources to help you create your personal voting plan, including tools for learning more about candidates and issues so you can head into Election Day informed and prepared. Drop in anytime and take part -- no prior experience needed.
Mutual Aid Meetups are recurring, hands-on gatherings offered in collaboration with community partners, each one centered on an on-site activity that directly supports a current need. They’re designed for anyone who wants to take practical, creative steps toward stronger community; no volunteer application, no shift commitments, just drop in, lend a hand, meet others who care, and share skills while doing meaningful work together.
