About the event
In this Mutual Aid Meetup, we’ll come together to create handmade greeting cards for clients of Exodus Refugee Immigration. Using simple materials like collage, drawing, and hand lettering, we'll design cards and write a messages of encouragement inside -- small gestures that carry real weight.
These cards will become part of a larger public display at World Refugee Day this June, where dozens of messages from the community will be shared as a visual expression of welcome and support. Each card contributes to something bigger: a collective reminder that people are seen, valued, and not alone.
Mutual Aid Meetups are recurring, hands-on gatherings offered in collaboration with community partners, each one centered on an on-site activity that directly supports a current need.
