The very best books are the ones that refuse to live quietly on a shelf. What if you could make art that takes a journey of its own?
Local bookmaker, storyteller, and artist LuAnne Holladay will share insights from launching her ongoing collaborative anthology, Give Your Word: an accordion book that has traveled the country and grown to nearly 60 feet of thoughtful expressions and interventions from invited contributors across backgrounds and creative practices.
Join us for a two-hour, hands-on Give Your Word experience where you’ll create a handmade book designed to hold language that matters. Bring your own words to the table, and after the workshop concludes, keep the project alive by inviting others in your life to contribute.
