About the event

This evening offers a hands-on opportunity to explore the powerful connection between art and activism.
Presented by the Indiana University Arts & Humanities Council, Craftivism! features Dr. Amelia Morris, a cultural and media theorist, with research interests in anti-capitalism and community. Drawing from her experience in teaching creative approaches to activism at the University of Exeter, Dr. Morris will lead a discussion on the role of art in social movements.
Following the talk, we’ll dive into a collaborative zine-making session where you can transform your thoughts into DIY publications. Whether you're new to zines or a seasoned creator, this event is a space to engage, collaborate, and reflect on how creativity can drive change.
Supplies provided—just bring your voice and your vision.
