Through insightful demonstrations and hands-on exercises, published illustrator and Bloomington local Trenton McBeth will guide you through the process of crafting characters that resonate with depth and personality, whether they're heroes, villains, or quirky sidekicks. 

Gain industry-tested insights into storytelling through visuals as you explore the nuances of expression, gesture, and posture. By the end of the workshop, you'll be acquainted with skills, exercises, and techniques you can call on to continue exploring character design independently,

  • All participants under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a ticketholding adult.
  • Cost of admission includes all supplies and a take-home kit. Additionally, guests receive 10% off any purchases made while on-site.

About Trenton McBeth

Trenton is the illustrator of Stegothesaurus, Triceratopposite, Ogilvy, Ducks! and the Big Words Small Stories series, and the author/illustrator of Robot in Love, the Randy, the Badly Drawn Horse series, and I Am NOT the Easter Bunny!
