About the event
In June’s Art Club, we’re exploring Optical Drift: using fluorescent highlighters to create flowing, abstract line work that plays tricks on the eye. By layering color and rhythm, simple marks turn into vibrant, energetic drawings that feel dynamic, immersive, and delightfully unpredictable.
Art Club is part of our Art In Common series: an open invitation to explore new materials and connect with Bloomington’s creative community. All Art In Common programs are free, include all materials + supplies, and are open to people of all ages and abilities. No previous art experience is required. Whether you try your hand at the simple activity we've got planned or prefer to bring your own project to work on alongside, this space is ready and equipped for all kinds of explorations!
