These lovely cedar pencils from Tombow are crafted with remnants of manufacturing processes. Their beautiful existing grain and finger-joined construction are clearly visible, as the pencils are only minimally lacquered,

Their vermilion core is perfectly suited for color-coding notes, grading, correcting draft documents, annotating sheet music or scripts, and underlining book passages. The core is soft but sharpens to a fine point perfect for detailed margin notes.
