First Friday Art Lab
Enjoy Bloomington's First Friday art and culture offerings while your young artist in residence explores our Creative Commons studio! Designed for ages 5–12, Art Lab is a safe, welcoming space where kids can experiment with new materials, make new friends (or bring one along!), and enjoy lightly structured, hands-on projects led by our Art Lab Guides. Each month features a fresh lineup of creative activities, with all materials and pizza dinner included. Kids work at their own pace and can move freely between projects, making it a relaxed but engaging way to kick off the weekend.
